Heightened global awareness on the plight of our environment pushed for enhanced governance of waste material processing. Consumers realized the need to conserve earth’s natural resources, such as, metals and energy, hence the increasingly earnest efforts in the reduction of carbon emissions and pollutants. Recycling is a highly effective means for reducing waste, mitigating depletion of our natural resources, and prevention of eco-extermination. Although plastic products produced through new technological processes are recyclable, they had not been used in effective applications. Hence, production of more products using recyclable metals could significantly contribute to the campaign for pollution reduction and a cleaner Earth. Moreover, this measure has both economic value and environmental benefits as it conserves use of inconsiderable natural resources at the same time as it reduces the weight of Earth’s environmental burden.
